Confidentiality Agreement

Registrars are required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement with mTLD to become a dotmobi registrar. This establishes an agreement by which mTLD will provide the documentation required for a registrar to go live with the registry.

Please insert your company's ICANN accredited and legally registered name, place of incorporation, and principle place of business and have both copies signed by your organization's authorized person. Return the two signed original agreements to mTLD at the address below.

Registrar Data Form

The Registrar Data Form provides mTLD with the information necessary to set up and maintain your registrar account and provide service. Please follow the instructions detailed in the form.

ICANN Registrar Accreditation

Please provide a copy of your ICANN registrar agreement, which verifies that your company is accredited by ICANN.

ICANN accredited registrars will also have to be accredited by ICANN to sell dotmobi domain names. Please download two copies of the ICANN .Mobi Appendix to Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA) document. When completed send to ICANN and when approved ICANN will return a signed copy to you and inform mTLD of the approval.

ICANN .mobi Appendix to RAA.pdf. The registrar should return (2) copies of dotmobi appendix to ICANN. The registrar should insert their own name into the appendix (in place of [Registrar]) before sending to ICANN.

Please note mTLD will only be able to complete the dotmobi accreditation of a registrar after approval has been received from ICANN.

Company Formation Documents

Please submit a copy of company formation documents to verify your legal identity when entering into an agreement with mTLD. This is typically a certificate of incorporation from a relevant state or national authority.

Insurance Form

Please submit a copy of a certificate of insurance as per the requirements listed in the RRA. This section requires the registrar to obtain a Comprehensive General Liability Insurance Policy in the amount of 1 million dollars (US $1,000,000) (or more, or the equivalent in a foreign currency).

Update Your Registrant Agreement

The Registry-Registrar Agreement (RRA) requires that you place certain terms and conditions in the agreement that you have with your registrants. These terms and conditions are below in MS Word format.

mTLD may ask you for the location on your website of your updated Registrant Agreement for verification before granting you access to the Shared Registry System (SRS).
